The T-Reef, designated after its outside form, continues the Ray Hole reef to the south. The distance to the beach is approx. 500m so it can be accessed only by boat or a very long swim through the lagoon.
The visibility in the lagoon is limited, however outside the lagoon the underwater landscape of Ray Role continues with good or even very good visibility conditions. On the sandy plateau at the T-Reef you have again the chance to spot the Black Spotted Stingray. Also the flat area of the reef offers a special diversity of species of fish and coral. Unfortunately a part of the reef was destroyed by an earthquake in the 90s.
